Born in California, Mike Walker's first Colorado experience came when he was named program director and morning show host at King FM is 2007.  "Colorado has been a bit of an adjustment," Mike says.  "Living in California all my life, I've had to learn how to deal with winter!"

When leaving California, Mike left his four children behind.  But even though they're miles away, Steven, Linda, Jordan & Elyssa are still the most prized part of his life.

Radio has been a big part of Mike Walker's life, "and will always be!"  He truly enjoys the all-request lunch hour, because he gets to play what the listeners want.  He has also developed enjoyment in hosting the Swap Shop, weekday mornings from 9 to 10am.
