ABOUT THE AUTHOR

We gave a total of 331 vaccinations over the five-hour period, and more than a third of those were done within the first hour we were open. We would have been able to vaccinate twice as many people had the flow of people stayed steady. Overall we gave less than vaccine than we were able to but consider the clinic a success. We are still taking appointments for the H1N1 vaccination in our Sterling office on Mondays and Fridays for the following people: pregnant women, people who live with or care for children younger than 6 months of age, all healthcare and emergency medical services personnel, all people from 6 months through 24 years of age, and persons aged 25 through 64 years who have health conditions associated with higher risk of medical complications from influenza. To schedule an appointment in our Sterling office call
522-3741.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

Thanks!
