ABOUT THE AUTHOR

The 15th Annual Sterling Community Health fair is scheduled for Saturday, March 27th from 7:30 – 11:00 a.m. at Sterling Middle School, 1177 Pawnee Avenue. A number of individuals took advantage of the opportunity to get their blood work done prior to the health fair. Those individuals will be able to pick up their results the day of the fair at Sterling Middle School. Others have chosen to make their appointment for blood work the morning of the health fair. Those participants are reminded that they need to fast for 12 hours prior to their scheduled appointment. During the fasting period, individuals should drink only water and take all prescribed medications. For the small fee of $30, an individual receives a wealth of information about his or her health - as revealed by just one ounce of blood.

Walk-ins are also welcome the day of the health fair. Those wanting their blood work done need to plan to arrive between 7:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. The fair will close promptly at 11:00 a.m. Screenings and health information displays include:
