According to the Denver Post, running back Correll Buckhalter, cornerback Champ Bailey, wide receiver Demaryius Thomas, linebacker D.J. Williams and offensive guard Chris Kuper were back on the field yesterday.

All five have been off the field more than on the field during preseason.
 
Offensive lineman Ryan Clady and running back LenDale White are coming back to work today, according to Broncos coach Josh McDaniels.

Nuggets exec Josh Kroenke recently met with Carmelo Anthony in Baltimore to try and make headway toward an extension.
 
Kroenke, 30, is a former Missouri basketball player who could eventually become the Nuggets' owner.  His father, Stan Kroenke, shoud finalize a deal to purchase the NFL's St. Louis Rams today.
 
Recent reports have linked Anthony to the Knicks, Rockets and Nets in trade rumors.

The University of Colorado announced the renewal of their football series with national powerhouse Ohio State for the 2011 season.
 
The Buffaloes will travel to Ohio Stadium on Sept. 24, 2011, to play the host Buckeyes. It will mark the fifth time the two schools will play in football.
 
Colorado opens the 2011 season at Hawai’i on Sept. 3, hosts California on Sept. 10, is set to play Colorado State in Denver on Sept. 17, and moved a home game against Fresno State to Oct. 8 to accommodate the trip to Columbus.
